Twelfth Annual Kid’s Triathalon
Saturday, August 6 @ 11:00 AM
5 & 6-year-olds: shallow end swim to rope, bike 2 laps around the parking lot circle, run 1 lap
7 & 8-year-olds: 25-meter swim, 1-mile bike, ½ mile run (Cupsaw Dr, Duffy Rd, Kraft Pl, Walker Dr)
9 & 10-year-olds: 50-meter swim, 2-mile bike, ½ mile run (Cupsaw Dr, Duffy Rd, Kraft Pl, Walker Dr)
11 & 12-year-olds: 50-meter swim, 2-mile bike, 1-mile run (Cupsaw Dr, Duffy Rd, Kraft Pl, Walker Dr)
13 & 14-year-olds: 100-meter swim, 3-mile bike, 1-mile run (Cupsaw Dr, Duffy Rd, Kraft Pl, Walker Dr)
ALL participants must wear a bike helmet on the course, including adults. NO EXCEPTIONS
All participants between 7 and 8 years old must have an adult accompany them on the bike and run. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Check-in is at 10:00 AM. Come pick up your number, set up your bike, and get the race instructions. The race will start promptly at 11:00 AM sharp! All participants must be wearing a shirt to pin their number on.

** Each 1-mile loop is the entire loop as shown in the image. Participants enter the parking lot to turn around for the next loop (2 miles=2 loops, 3 miles=3 loops)**
**The ½ mile loop turns around at the corner of Walker & Kraft, shortly after turning onto Kraft. It will be clearly marked**

Cupsaw Weekend FAQs
Remember only Cupsaw Lake members can be recognized as winners.
Big Splash/Little Splash: Open to both kids and adults. See who can make the biggest or the littlest splash.
Adult Lake Swim: Swim from the dam to the diving boards. Every swimmer must have a boater alongside them, regardless of their swimming ability.
Kids Triathlon: Pre-registration by Friday at 8:00 PM is required. The 5 or 6-year-olds do not leave the Cupsaw property. Our 7 or 8-year-olds must have a responsible adult on the course with them. All participants must have a shirt to wear during the race to pin their number on and must be at the lake by 10:00 AM to register. There will be adults along the course to help the kids if they need it. All riders, including adults, must wear helmets. Only Cupsaw member kids may participate in this event.
Sand Games, Swimming, and Diving: All Cupsaw members (adults and kids) are encouraged to participate in all the events. Guests are welcome to play but are not eligible to win. Swim races include a kickboard race for the little ones, family relay, friends relay, and counselor/guard relay.
Adult Volleyball: Please form teams prior to Saturday evening. All teams must have at least 2 women. Teams may not have any more than two non-Cupsaw members. All players must be college age or over.
Kids Lake Swim: Swim from the dam to the diving boards. Every swimmer must have a boater alongside them, regardless of their swimming ability. Kids must complete a buoy swim test with a counselor prior to entering the race.
Teen Volleyball and Kid’s Newcombe tournament: Volleyball and Newcombe teams should have 6-7 players. Teens must be entering 8th grade and no older than entering senior year of high school. Only one non-Cupsaw member is allowed per team. Newcombe players must be entering 4th through entering 8th grade.
Cupsaw Weekend Volleyball Information
- Games begin on Saturday evening at 6:00 PM
- Please form teams prior to Saturday night
- All teams must have at least 2 woman
- Teams may not have more than 2 non-Cupsaw members
- All players must have graduated high school
- Games begin on Sunday at 6:00 PM
- Please register teams by Saturday at noon
- All players must be entering 8th grade through entering 12th grade
- Teams may only have 1 non-Cupsaw member on the team
- Teams should have 6 or 7 players
- Games begin on Sunday at 12:30
- Please register teams by Saturday at noon
- All players must be entering 4th grade through entering 8th grade
- Teams may have 1 non-Cupsaw member on the team
- Teams should have 6 or 7 players
Lake Swim Requirements
Pre-registration required. Participants in the kid’s swim must have passed the buoy swim test in order to participate.
Join us for this great Cupsaw Weekend Tradition. For the safety of all of our swimmers, there are some requirements for the boaters and the swimmers:
- All Swimmers must have a boater for the entire swim.
- All boaters for the adult swim must be 15 years of age or older
- All boaters for the kid’s swim must be 18 years of age or older or be lifeguard certified.
- All kid swimmers 13 and under must pass a swim test to the buoy before Cupsaw Weekend. There will be opportunities during swim lessons or outside of swim lessons for this test.

Additional $25.00 per golfer if riding the bus. The bus leaves Cupsaw clubhouse at 10:00 am and returns after dinner.

Cupsaw Sailing Club
Sailing races this Summer
The Cupsaw Sailing Club has bi-weekly races on weekends. Races will be held on the following dates at 2:00pm:
- June 25 (Saturday)
- July 3 (Sunday)
- July 16 (Saturday)
- July 31 (Sunday)
- August 7 (Sunday)
All sailors are welcome to join. If you are interested in sailing on Cupsaw Lake, feel free to stop by and introduce yourself. We often have an extra boat or two for interested sailors. For more information please reach out to Tom Conway at email@example.com.
