Twelfth Annual Kid’s Triathalon

Event Distances:

5 & 6-year-olds:  shallow end swim to rope, bike 2 laps around the parking lot circle, run 1 lap

7 & 8-year-olds: 25-meter swim, 1-mile bike, ½ mile run (Cupsaw Dr, Duffy Rd, Kraft Pl, Walker Dr)

9 & 10-year-olds: 50-meter swim, 2-mile bike, ½ mile run (Cupsaw Dr, Duffy Rd, Kraft Pl, Walker Dr)

11 & 12-year-olds: 50-meter swim, 2-mile bike, 1-mile run (Cupsaw Dr, Duffy Rd, Kraft Pl, Walker Dr)

13 & 14-year-olds: 100-meter swim, 3-mile bike, 1-mile run (Cupsaw Dr, Duffy Rd, Kraft Pl, Walker Dr)

ALL participants must wear a bike helmet on the course, including adults.  NO EXCEPTIONS

All participants between 7 and 8 years old must have an adult accompany them on the bike and run. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Check-in is at 10:00 AM. Come pick up your number, set up your bike, and get the race instructions.  The race will start promptly at 11:00 AM sharp!  All participants must be wearing a shirt to pin their number on.

Route:

** Each 1-mile loop is the entire loop as shown in the image. Participants enter the parking lot to turn around for the next loop (2 miles=2 loops, 3 miles=3 loops)**

**The ½ mile loop turns around at the corner of Walker & Kraft, shortly after turning onto Kraft. It will be clearly marked**

Route:

  • LEFT out of the Cupsaw Lake parking lot
  • RIGHT on Duffy
  • RIGHT on Kraft Place (*1/2 mile runners will turn around at the intersection of Kraft & Walker)
  • LEFT on Hare and continue LEFT on Walker Drive
  • RIGHT on Kraft
  • LEFT on Duffy
  • LEFT on Cupsaw
  • RIGHT into Cupsaw Lake parking lot
